This kennel's owner, John Henkel, sold a female German Shepherd to me over the Internet, via his website. She was shipped to me at the insistence of Mr. Henkel. Upon arrival it was obvious that this dog was of inferior conformation. Mr. Henkel was adamant that the dog was perfect. Contrary to my veterinarian's evaluation. After months of trying to get my money back and having him reclaim the dog, I have enlisted the services of the Connecticut Attorney General's office and our personal attorney. I was threatened by Mr. Henkel not to pursue legal action or slander his name. I would not buy any of his dogs without first seeing them in the flesh. After paying over $3,000.00 for this dog, I believe it is my right to demand a refund. He merely wanted me to pay a higher price for another dog. There are many, many German Shepherd breeders out there that are worth their salt and produce excellent dogs. I highly recommend that you shop elsewhere. view short comment
